Today the Caretaker Chairman of Jalingo local government, Hon. Abdulnaseer Bobboji pays a visit to IQRA ACADEMY JALINGO - The unscheduled visit was necessitated by the outstanding performance of one of the students who emerged as the best mathematics student of the year.
Hon Bobboji applauded the staff and management of school for towing the path of the Rescue Agenda of His Excellency, Gov Darius Ishaku towards improving teaching standards in the state's academic outlets as well as moulding students to be worthy ambassadors outside the four corners of the classroom.
He said "Education is one of the Rescue Captain's top priority, thus, Taraba state is the first in Northern Nigeria and 7th position in the entire country in the last year's West African Senior Secondary School Examination WASSCE".
"It is a cumulative effort of both private and public schools inline with the state government's education templates that resulted to the above successes" the Council Chairman emphasized.
Also addressing the students, Hon. Bobboji encouraged them to be dedicated to their school works and pursued discipline in all fronts, so as to inculcate good character, hence, they are leaders of tomorrow.
Finally Hon. Abdulnaseer Bobboji presented a gift of iPad Tablet so as to spur the enthusiasm of the student and also motivate fellow ones to subscribe to the study of mathematics and other science subjects.
