Speaking on behalf of the Executive Governor of Taraba State Arch. Darius Dickson Ishaku at the residence, his Excellency Engr. Haruna Manu said, "On behalf of the Governor and the good people of Taraba state we are here to condole and sympathize with the family over the demise of sister Margret Peter Diah who was so dear to the family and specifically Rt. Hon Abel Peter Diah. And we pray that will God give the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss."
Responding on behalf of the family, HRH Ambassador Emmanuel Q. Njiwah the Mbondua Mbamnga thanked and appreciate the state Government for the show of love and sympathy during the trial moment of the family and wish the entourage safe journey back to their various destinations.
Present among the entourage are Hon. Member representing Ardo Kola Lau and Karim Federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Baido Tijos, Hon David Abel Fuah Member Representing Gashaka, kurmi and Sardauna Federal Constituency, former and Present Commissioners, some Top Government Functionaries and some Local Government Chairman. After which the entourage make a return to Jalingo.
