Amik Adams A Music Maker Calls For Peace In Southern Taraba
Following ongoing crisis that is wreaking havoc in Southern Taraba, resulting in the destruction of lives and property in the area, a music maker from the region calls for peace among dwellers of Southern Taraba.
According to him, "If killing each other will solve our problems and give us unprecedented Peace and Development, I think southern Taraba should be competing with Dubai and Singapore by now; but we are worst among the worsts, backward in everything under the sun..." Amik Adams said.
It is unfortunate that the once peaceful zone that enjoys peace with many agricultural activities is now a ground for killings and destruction of properties. The sad event has now led to the displacement of many families and an increase in the number of IDPs, a development that spells doom in the area. Mr. Adams further called for the change of strategy saying, "Non-Violence and dialogue is the way out, even world war 2 ended through dialogue.." Violence is never a solution, but peace is.
