A civi society organization, Taraba Volunteer group have applauded Governor Darius Ishaku for relaxing the lockdown imposed in the state following the global covid-19 pandemic.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Jalingo, the group praised Governor Ishaku for listening to their plea and thereby relaxing the lockdown which will no doubt enable farmers and others who are not on the governments essential list especially farmers to return to their farms and businesses.
The group had earlier made the appeal when it became apparent that the state might experience a shortage in farm output if nothing is done to enable farmers move freely to their farms.
The group therefore applaud the Governor for his kind gesture and saw the move as a welcome development and called on farmers to take advantage of the ease of movement to ensure they give maximum attention to their farms and as well help themselves and the state in particular from a situation that might lead to to a shortfall in farm produce at the end of the season.
