The Governor's visit to Takum was seen as golden because his arrival in Takum saw a mammoth crowd chanting his name in a welcome celebration, amidst jubilation.
While in Takum, the Governor reaffirmed his commitment to work for the state and ensure that projects in the state reached completion. He also visited his people and had discussions with them to enable him to know their plight better.
Residents of Takum were greatly happy to have the Governor in Takum, as many said, his coming to Takum gives us a sense of belonging. A resident said, "I am very happy to see the Governor come home to see us. It is a great moment and will remain historical." According to Mr. Akensire, "Governor Ishaku's visit to Takum has finally ended the many positions of accusations against him. He has proven beyond words that he has not abandoned home" he said.
From Ussa local government, citizens expressed their confidence in the Governor and said his visit was very important to them.
On the part of security, the Governor summoned chiefs and urged them not to relent in assisting the efforts of his administration for the development of the Southern zone alone but the whole state.
