TARABA STATE GOVT EXPRESS CONCERNED OVER THE INFLUX UNKNOWN PERSON
Influx of unknown persons to the State has now become a source of worries.
State Deputy Governor Haruna Manu who was briefing Journalist on the recent meeting between second Class Chiefs and Governor Darius Ishaku at the Government House Jalingo said people of the State need to be careful to know their neighbours.
He revealed that no traditional leader has the Power to appoint district heads without the approval of the State Government maintaining that it is their prerogative to appoint village heads
Haruna Manu revealed that some of the Chiefs have made submissions for the appointment of district heads positing that Government would soon come out with a comprehensive list to that regard.
The Deputy Governor pleaded with Tarabans mostly those that are facing demarcation problem to remain calm as modalities have been put in place by Governor Darius Ishaku to settle the problem once and for all.
