GOC Nigerian Army Assures Citizens of Containing Insurgency in the Country

General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army, Brig-Gen Musa Danmadami has assured that the army and other instruments of state are working out strategies to contain insurgency in the country. The GOC gave the assurance on Saturday at the Government House when he visited the Taraba State, Governor Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku.The assurance came after holding a closed-door meeting with the governor.
General Danmadami said the military is bothered by the havoc insecurity has brought on the social and economic life of the citizens in areas most affected. He promised that the right synergy between security agencies in the country is being implemented to curtail the problem.
Speaking to the press he said, “It is necessary for me to go round the units under the division and Governor of the state as the Chief security officer of the state and thank him for the support he has been giving to soldiers of the division as well as congratulate him on his efforts towards sustaining and maintaining peace and security in the state. Governor Ishaku thanked the GOC for the visit and promised that the state government will continue to support the security agencies to do their job of securing lives and property.
