Opinion:Taraba Now A Haven of Peace As Gov. Darius Runs A Participatory Governance

BY Suleiman Usman Nyaja

One has to admit that His Excellency Architect Darius Dickson ishaku, the rescue Commander is absolutely shielded enough to eliminate anything that impedes on the way of progress of our dear state Taraba.

One of the Governor's tactical dimension to curtail pessimistic and any act of violence in accelerating the progress is by associating the legitimate citizens to beget the dividends of democracy to every individual of the state irrespective of ethno-religious or any political party affiliations. This no doubt has earned the Governor the highest tribute from the peace loving masses.

It has also been said even in our religion that, “no state or nation will attest any level of progress unless they unite as one.” And of course Gov. Darius ishaku is breaking the differences and bonding the common unity in him with the state cohesively.

As it has become his systematic style of leadership to interact with his followers (citizens) to partner in battling with any excuse to the Taraba state in its development track.

He honors the gesture with active participation just as he did recently during the #EndSars protest. He constituted a panel committee of inquiry for investigations into the root causes of the protests and possible solutions.

For the third time, and first of its kind, the Governor has taken a bold steps in order to champion the absolute peace, perfect security of lives and properties in the state.

These leadership traits as clearly and excellently developed by Governor Darius would go a long way in projecting the state back on national map, and as a highly competitive state in the federation.

As his policies continued to garner positive reactions, it also reveals deep stakeholding in the administration of the rescue Commander, reference to making consultations with relevant stakeholders as one of his sequential development priority.

To cut the long story short for massive attention, gone are the days that when you are not in the government cycle (opposition), no matter your background or Economic & political potentials, you will not be able to attend any government occasion, when politics is in glimpse perception, But as Gov. Darius Dickson ishaku storms in as a leader through a democratic process, everybody is entitled to participate in governance to ensure development of every axis at every level through fair hearing and collective decision-making directly with the masses who voted for him. This therefore points to a direct shift from a government of the few to a participatory governance being championed by Governor Darius in the state.
