Another of Elsudi’s Senseless Talk From His Bag of Lies

The Taraba State chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ibrahim Elsudi has pulled yet another one from his bag of lies.
This time it is a spurious allegation on a supposed N20 billion loan Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku was supposed to have taken without the consent of the Taraba State House of Assembly and against the wishes of some Local Government chairmen.
Lies, lies and lies. El-Sudi is always in the habit of under rating the level of intelligence and understanding of the Taraba people. He’s doing so again with this present wild allegation of a non-existing attempt by the Governor to obtain a N20 billion loan through the back door.
It’s impossible, and El–Sudi who is a lawyer knows that there is no way the state government can obtain a loan of this magnitude without the consent of the Legislature. He should stop insulting the good people of Taraba State.
For the avoidance of doubt, there was never an attempt by the Taraba State government to take the said loan.
The act of obtaining loans by the government is not a crime as El-Sudi wants the people to believe. Government can always obtain a loan for its services. But there are procedures that must be followed and conditions that must be met before those giving the loan will even grant the request.
No financial institution will release N20 billion through the back door and without regard for its own rules and regulations.
Furthermore, there is no record anywhere that the Ishaku administration ever obtained a loan without due process.
This present allegation and its sponsor do not deserve attention. They should rather look for space in the trash can.
