Taraba Finance Commissioner turns 48 Celebrates with Patients 

Taraba State commissioner of Finance Dr Jesse Adi marked his 48th birthday 

with patients at the state specialist hospital Jalingo. 

At the event, he handed out cash gifts to patients but most notable and touching was the instant payment to offset the bills of a patient undergoing dialysis at the hospital an act which drew praise and prayers from friends and well-wishers who thronged the hospital to celebrate with him and his family. 

According to the Commissioner, "I feel blessed and elated to be here at the specialist hospital to celebrate yet another birthday with the patients. It gives me great joy each time I mark this auspicious day here. Nothing is more fulfilling than this. I equally want to thank our dear Governor for considering me worthy to continue in the same capacity and contributing my  service to the state"

Adding  "let me also thank my beloved wife and children as well as friends, colleagues for standing by me. Your presence here today gives me great joy" he concluded. 

Commenting, the chief medical director of the specialist hospital Dr Maiangwa who was visibly moved by the actions of the celebrant poured ecomium on the  celebrant for having attained a mile stone in his journey of life and urged him to remain steadfast in his eadeavour and prayed for more glorious years for him. 

He called on government officials and well meaning Tarabians to take a que from the celebrant and emulate his gesture.

Dr Jesse who retained his portfolio as Finance Commissioner, had his tertiary education at two of Nigeria's finest universities, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and the University of Nigeria Nsuka between the year 2000 and 2009. Prior to these, he was an alumni of Federal Government College, Wukari.

His working experience before his appointment as Honourable Commissioner of finance, includes Chief executive officer and managing director sauki hospital and maternity hospital Jalingo and Acting director health services, federal university, Wukari respectively. 

Among dignitaries at the event were special advisers to governor Ishaku  , professional colleagues, family and friends of the celebrant.
