Though Governor Ishaku has been doing a lot for Taraba state, there are certain killer areas no one is talking about. Keep reading to know more.
Peace : Taraba can fondly be nicknamed home of ethnic diversity, hence, home of communal clashes, but no one is calling us that yet..why?
From different religions, hundreds of ethnic groups, different cultures and languages, it is a fact that this much diversity should easily make the entire state to have a high rate of security challenge. That's not the case here.
The governor had been doing so much in the background. So far, only some parts of Southern Taraba has issues... hostilities that have spanned decades. Yet he is not folding his arms. A lot had been done and is still being done to permanently resolve the problem.
Appointments : In the history of Taraba state, no previous government has given so many appointments. There is no local government area where we don't have minimum of 10 appointees. These appointments have elevated the status and put food on the table of many.
Resource Management : Leaders who will always pay salaries with very little Internally Generated Revenue, huge debt profile and minimum Federal Allocation, when compared to other states should be celebrated. When you take statistics of states who pay little or nothing for months...with reasons far less than those of Taraba...you will celebrate Governor Ishaku and pray for him.
Grassroots Intervention : Are you talking of water, agriculture, health or security? There is no local government or ward that has not felt government presence. Through counterpart funding and other initiatives, the governor has silently stretched his tentacles across the state in development...
Let's keep thanking God for what we have so that he can give us what we do not have, using the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku and His amiable Wife, Barr. Anna Ishaku.
