Some folks disputing some of the recently circulated pictures on social media that those places can not be in Taraba state. I want to say a little about how nature is Taraba, the nation's nature state 'Nature's gift to the nation'. Do you know that...
1. Gashaka Gumti National park is the largest park in west Africa, measures 6,402km2. The national park is located in Taraba State.
2. The highest point in West Africa, the chappal waddi (mountain of death) It's 2,419 meters above sea level, is also located in Taraba.
3. The largest/highest plateau in west Africa is Mambila plateau in Taraba State. It measures 9,389km2 in diameter and 1,600meters-1828meters high. The mambila plateau is almost three (3) times the size of Lagos State.
4. The largest tea plantation in West Africa and one of the best in the world is Taraba Highland Tea.
5. Nwonyo Fishing festival in Ibbi-Taraba state is one of the first in Africa and arguably the best in the country in terms of the largest fish catch.
6. Mining activities is one other untapped area in the state.
7. Taraba State is the  site for the popular Mambila hydropower plant capable of generating 3,050 mega watts electricity.
When completed, it will be the largest power-generating plant in Nigeria and one of the largest in Africa.
8. Taraba is the third largest state in the country (54,473km2) with a vast fertile land for agriculture and is transversed by river Benue and alot more tributaries suitable for irrigation farming.
9. Please if you want to buy tubers of yam, palm oil, honey, etc look for the one from Taraba you will tell the difference.
